Life is Meant to be In-joyed!

My gosh it’s been awhile since I’ve blogged.  It must be because I’m having such a great time visiting friends and family here in California.

I enjoyed celebrating Easter with the family.  Dinner was fantastic.  Probably because I didn’t have to cook it.   It was a day of renewal and resurrection for me.  I took some quiet time to reflect on what the resurrection means and what it means for me. I love that Easter is in the springtime, a time of rebirth of Mother Earth.  It’s about being born again.  For me, that means remembering who I am in every sense of the word.   It’s about waking up to the realization that we are One. We are all part of the Whole.  It’s about Love, it’s about giving, it’s about sharing, it’s about understanding, it’s about forgiveness, it’s about making choices, it’s about living your bliss. It’s the recognition that how we live our lives matters.  We are a product of our choices. There really is a Law of Attraction and it works.  But it’s important to remember that it’s not just a matter of what we are thinking about, it’s a matter of how we are living and feeling.  That really came home to roost for me when I thought often about how I “needed” more money to live on.  I thought about it often, but I lived in a state of a “lack” awareness instead of an “abundance” awareness.  Making a choice to see things in a new light makes all the difference in the world.  To me, being born again means waking up to my spiritual reality rather than believing in my human ego state.

Again, life is good, always, no matter how it might be showing up right now.  All things work together for the greater good.  I believe that and I am living that with all my being.

Now I have to check in about walking.  I’m doing it!  Okay, not every day, but I feel really good about what I have been doing. I’m up to 20 minutes at a time (from 5 minutes).  That’s really something for me.

Yesterday, however, the only walking I got in was from table to table at the casino. For years and years and years my game was Blackjack (21) and I loved it. However, the last three or four times I’ve gone gambling, I’ve played Three-card poker.  I LOVE IT!  I still have yet to get the elusive three of a kind, but I have actually gotten several straight flushes.  They are the money ticket.   So, I’m still ahead and playing with their money.  Oh what fun!  Can’t wait for the Las Vegas trip over Mother’s Day weekend.

Kind of a strange blog post, yes?  Discussing Resurrection, renewal and rebirth – and then gambling!  Well, that’s me!  It’s all Good.  I know for a fact that Life is meant to be lived and in-joyed.  AND – that’s what I do.

Thanks Susannah, I really appreciate you! Yes, I’m having fun and tomorrow will be a long day of walking, doing touristy things in Los Angeles.
