Birthday Wishes

Tomorrow is my little boy’s birthday, my youngest, my baby.

Okay, so he is going to be 39 years old.

A mother’s love never changes, except that it just grows deeper and stronger.

You have been a true joy in my life even through the tough times of your youth.  We have come so far together.

With you I have experienced love, tears, joy, patience, worry, pride, and  much gratitude.

Happy Birthday Darin!

I love that – “transitional” period. That’s what I shall call it from now on. (It was a very long one – thought it would never end.)

  2. My daughter turned 29 last month….unbelievable! Yes, they will always feel like our babies, no matter how old they get. That’s one of the wonderful things about being a mother – you never forget how it was the first time you held them. Birthday blessings to Darin!

That’s so true, I remember the first time with each of my children, just like it was yesterday.

  8. I think the best times I ever had with my parents were when I was an adult. Even though the child years are precious, the adult years together are warmer, stronger, fuller bodied, you know what I mean? Enjoy your birthday!!

  9. He’s about the same age as my baby boy. While I do respect him as an adult and a father, he will always be the baby I held in my arms during some long nights when he needed to be held.

Thank you everyone, yes our children are something special, right? Then they give us wonderful grandchildren. It can’t get much better than that.
